Kendra Asiedu (she/her) is passionate about community upliftment, joy, and health for all, but especially marginalized communities. A graduate of The Ohio State University with concentrations in International Studies; Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies; and Global Public Health; she joined BHE to have an impact on public health and to connect with her community. The importance of public health is a remnant in our everyday lives, from abortion access to housing; and historically the content leaves behind the most marginalized. She wants to be a part of the public health leaders working to uplift and empower our communities and bring them to the helm of public health advocacy. Kendra is currently serving as a Legislative Analyst for Columbus City Councilmember Favor.
