About
Dr. Shekyra DeCree, LPCC-S, is a licensed professional clinical counselor dedicated to providing hope, education, and empowerment to everyone she encounters. Shekyra received her master’s degree in community counseling from the University of Dayton and a Ph.D. in counselor education and supervision from Ohio University. As founder of Queenspace Counseling and Wellness, Dr. DeCree, is committed to providing culturally inspired mental health care and wellness support to BIPOC women and girls. Her clinical areas of expertise are treating depression and anxiety disorders, women’s issues, LGBTQ issues, teen/adolescent counseling, and trauma-related issues.
