The mission of the Helping Hands Health and Wellness Center is to be the caring hands of Jesus to provide medical care, health education, counseling, and social services to those with needs. Helping Hands Health and Wellness Center is a community, faith-based, free medical clinic that serves uninsured and underinsured adults whose income is at or below 400% of the federal poverty guidelines. Helping Hands Health and Wellness Center provides free health care, health education, social services, and spiritual guidance; offers medication support for those in need of prescription assistance; refers patients for dental care and other specialties; offers Women's Health to provide preventative care to our patients.

  • WOMEN'S HEALTH

    Female cancer screenings and women's health services are offered by appointment and walk-in.

    Women's health services include pap smears, pelvic exams, and clinical breast exams.​

    Female cancer screenings and women's health services are offered on a monthly basis. The services take place on a Tuesday from 9 AM to 11 AM. Check the homepage calendar for exact dates.

    All women's health services are free.

    When you complete your women's health appointment, you will receive one-month supply of tampons and pads.

    PHYSICAL EXAMS - WORK OR SCHOOL

    Physical exams for work or school are by appointment only.​​

    Please bring a form of ID and necessary physical exam paperwork.

    The cost of a physical exam is a $5.00 cash donation.

    ​TB SKIN TESTING

    TB skin testing is walk-in only.

    ​TB skin testing is offered every Tuesday from 11AM to 1 PM.

    You are required to return for your TB skin test read on the immediately following.

    Please bring a form of ID.

    The cost of a TB skin test is an $8.00 cash donation.

    DOCTOR VISIT OR CHECK-UP

    We offer walk-in services if you need to see a Doctor for a prescription refill, a chronic condition, a sick visit, or a check-up.

    To see a Doctor, you can come to our clinic on Tuesday between 8 and 9 AM or Thursday between 3 and 4:30 PM.

    Because it is walk-in, we accept patients until we reach our capacity. It is recommended that patients arrive when the doors first open, on Tuesday at 8 AM or Thursday at 3 PM.

    Please bring a form of ID.

    All Doctor visits and check-ups are free.

    COUNSELOR OR COMMUNITY RESOURCES

    We offer walk-in services and appointments if you need to speak to a Counselor or talk to a Social Worker about available community resources.

    To see a Counselor or Social Worker, you can come to our clinic Thursday at 3 PM or call 614-262-5094 to schedule your appointment.

    Please bring a form of ID.

    All Counselor and Social Worker services are free.

    TRAUMA-INFORMED YOGA

    Yoga is offered as a walk-in or you can call ahead to reserve your spot: 614-262-5094.

    Please bring your own yoga mat; if you cannot, one will be provided for your use.

    Please bring a form of ID.

    All yoga sessions are free.
