Black Healthcare Provider Directory Commercial
Black Health Explained is excited to announce our latest project: Black Healthcare Provider Directory
Studies show that race-concordat care, receiving care from a provider that is from the same race as you, may lead to improved satisfaction and healthcare outcomes.
BHE is assisting the central Ohio area with accessing race-concordant through our new directory which features Black healthcare providers from numerous specialities.
The directory will officially launch August 10th on our website. We will continue to regularly update the directory and further expand to include providers outside of the central Ohio area.
Hope you are as excited as we are about this new tool that will greatly support our community! 🤩
Know Your Risk. Know Your Numbers. Know Your Options.
Prostate health is about more than waiting for symptoms to appear. Knowing your risk factors and having an informed conversation with a healthcare provider can help you make decisions about screening and treatment.
Men should talk with their healthcare provider about prostate cancer risk, particularly if they are older, have a family history of prostate cancer, or are Black.
Your prostate health is part of your overall health—and knowing what is normal for you can help you recognize when something has changed.
